What is Converse Chuck Taylor?
Born in 1917, it is one of CONVERSE's iconic products, with a design and specifications that have remained almost unchanged since the first model.
It is also referred to as the "vintage All-Star" of the current Converse All-Star, and is the prototype of the All-Stars that you see so often today.
Now, I will briefly explain the differences between the Chuck Taylor and the current Converse All-Star, which is a common question from those considering purchasing: "What is the difference from the ALL STAR?"
A major difference is the design.
① Heel Patch
The Chuck Taylor has a black heel patch. The color of this heel patch is one of the main differences that distinguishes it from the All-Star.
The number of stars and the font of the text may also differ depending on the era.
② Sole
The outsole is about 5mm thicker, and the insole is very soft. The reason why you can't let go of Chuck Taylors once you wear them is probably because of this comfortable fit.
Thanks to this sole, they are cushioned and extremely comfortable! Many people prefer Chuck Taylors because they don't get tired even after wearing them all day.
③ Shoelaces
Made of 100% cotton. The current All-Stars seem to have been changed to 100% polyester to improve durability, but the 100% cotton Chuck Taylors are definitely cooler!
④ Rubber Material
It has a glossy, slightly yellowish vintage finish. It is also famous for its upturned toe and smaller triangular area. The sharper design compared to the current model is also a major difference.
⑤ Tongue
It has a rounded tongue with a name print on the back where you can write "Chuck Taylor" and your name. The size is also indicated, so you can determine the country of sale (e.g., CM notation for sales in the US or China, KOR notation for sales in Korea).
In addition to the design, the price differs. Chuck Taylors vary depending on the seller, but on average,
they can be purchased for around 12,000 to 18,000 yen.
All authentic Chuck Taylors currently on the market are produced in Vietnam and sold in the US, Korea, Taiwan, China, and other countries.
In Japan, as it is a popular model, many fakes, especially from China, are circulating.

*Due to an increase in orders, we currently ship directly from official Converse stores overseas (mainly in Korea). EMS deliveries are handled by "Japan Post" domestically. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery.
*Items in stock domestically will be shipped via "Sagawa Express". Please allow approximately 3 business days for delivery.
*If you purchase two or more items, they may be shipped separately via EMS (Japan Post) and Sagawa Express.
Please also be aware that some sellers falsely claim to have items in stock and use photos without permission from flea market apps.
(In the past, I experienced a secondary damage where my photos from a flea market app were used without permission by another seller who then sold fakes.)

Point ②: Whether they have inventory
Our shop always carries inventory for most products (excluding some new products).
While holding inventory involves considerable risk, we constantly manage our inventory to ensure safe delivery of products to our customers.
Online purchasing agents other than official shops, and individuals selling on social media like Instagram, operate with zero inventory and never incur losses.
However, as mentioned in Point ①, Chuck Taylors are popular overseas, so there is a high possibility that shipping may not be possible.
Also, it may take more than two weeks for shipping after placing an order, or there may be issues during transit, such as fakes being substituted. Frankly, it's not safe and secure, so purchasing from vendors who don't hold inventory is at your own risk.

The payment methods accepted by our shop are as follows:

Online purchasing agent shops other than official shops, and individuals selling on social media like Instagram, often use bank transfers for transactions between individuals. However, if problems arise such as fakes or products not being shipped, there is no guarantee, so this is at your own risk. Furthermore, individual sellers knowingly engage in tax evasion by providing false information when shipping, so it is clear that this is not ethical behavior. Purchasing from such sellers carries risks for the buyer, so if you are considering a purchase, please think twice.
