Beyond the hip-hop scene, "TYLER, THE CREATOR" continues to exert a powerful influence across fashion, art, and culture. His brand, "GOLF LE FLEUR*", as its name suggests, captivates fans worldwide with playful, flower-motif designs and a unique sense of color that skillfully manipulates everything from pastels to vivid hues. His close relationship with "CONVERSE" consistently provides sneakerheads with new surprises and excitement. For this collaboration, Tyler, the Creator focused on experimental running and boat shoe prototypes from Converse's rich archive, created between the 1960s and 1970s. Although they never reached mass production, their unique designs and functional exploration from that era offer fresh inspiration even today.
The latest project, named the "1908 COLLECTION", features two models unearthed from the archive, "COACH JORGER" and "NAUT-1", in a total of seven color variations.
The upper uses a canvas and suede combination to recreate the original feel, while the outsole is gum and the tongue features the old logo, showing deep respect for vintage aesthetics. The color palette centers on gentle yet distinctive spring-inspired hues such as "FOREST SHADE", "QUIET TIDE", and "BISTRE". Additionally, an all-over terrier print model, inspired by his beloved dog "DARRYL", is also available.
