"TYLER, THE CREATOR," an unparalleled creator who continues to have a strong influence on fashion, art, and culture beyond the hip-hop scene. His brand, "GOLF LE FLEUR*," as the name suggests, continues to fascinate fans worldwide with playful designs featuring floral motifs and a unique sense of color that skillfully manipulates everything from pastels to vivid hues. His close relationship with "CONVERSE" always offers new surprises and excitement to sneakerheads. For this collaboration, "TYLER, THE CREATOR" focused on experimental running shoes and boat shoe prototypes produced between the 1960s and 1970s, which are part of Converse's rich archives. Although they did not reach mass production, the unique designs and functional exploration of that era provide fresh inspiration even today.
The latest project, named the "1908 COLLECTION," features two models discovered in the archives, "COACH JOGER" and "NAUT-1," and is available in a total of seven color variations.
The upper uses a combination of canvas and suede to recreate the atmosphere of the time. A gum sole is used for the outsole, and an old logo is placed on the tongue, showing deep respect for vintage. The color palette primarily features gentle yet unique colors that evoke the arrival of spring, such as "FOREST SHADE," "QUIET TIDE," and "BISTRE." Additionally, an all-over terrier pattern model inspired by his beloved dog "DARRYL" is also available.
