"TYLER, THE CREATOR" is a unique creator who transcends the hip-hop scene and continues to exert a powerful influence on fashion, art, and culture in general. His brand, "GOLF LE FLEUR*," as its name suggests, captivates fans worldwide with playful, flower-inspired designs and a unique sense of color that skillfully manipulates everything from pastels to vivid hues. His close relationship with "CONVERSE" constantly provides sneakerheads with new surprises and excitement. For this collaboration, Tyler, the Creator focused on experimental running shoes and boat shoe prototypes produced between the 1960s and 1970s, from Converse's rich archives. Although they did not reach mass production, the unique designs and spirit of exploration for function from that era still offer fresh inspiration to us today.
The latest project, named the "1908 COLLECTION," will feature seven color variations based on two models discovered in the archives: "COACH JOGER" and "NAUT-1."
The upper uses a combination of canvas and suede, recreating the atmosphere of the time. A gum sole is used for the outsole, and an old logo is placed on the tongue, showing deep respect for vintage. The color palette primarily features gentle yet unique shades reminiscent of spring, such as "FOREST SHADE," "QUIET TIDE," and "BISTRE." Additionally, an all-over terrier print model, inspired by his beloved dog "DARRYL," will also be released.
