Product number 14 is an early production model released in 2014, making it a highly rare model.
Product number 15 was released in 2015 and inherited the details of the initial specifications.
Product number 16 was released in 2016, a period when the proportion of Vietnamese production began to increase.
Product number 17 was released in 2017 and is a stable model closer to the current specifications.
Among these older product numbers, there are colors that have already sold out or have not been reproduced. Such models are considered **deadstock** and, due to their rarity, may be traded at a higher price than usual in the market.
Ben Raemers, known as one of the UK's leading skateboarders, was a legendary figure who passed away too soon. When news of his death broke in 2019, it sent shockwaves throughout the skateboarding community, bringing renewed attention to the importance of mental health awareness.
To support this cause, Converse officially partnered with the "Ben Raemers Foundation." Through the foundation, they also collaborate with "LivingWorks," a suicide prevention education and training program. The three parties work together to convey the importance of valuing oneself and one's peers to skateboarders, while providing support and knowledge to help them speak up.
These initiatives are planned to unfold in various forms in the future, but first, Converse announced a $25,000 donation to the "Ben Raemers Foundation," which aims to eliminate mental health stigma in the skateboarding industry.
Furthermore, to commemorate the second anniversary of his death, Converse created a special limited edition model, the "One Star Pro Mid." This was one of Ben Raemers' favorite models, finished in a simple navy color reminiscent of a pair he actually wore. In addition, his silhouette is designed on the suede heel part.
