Beyond the hip-hop scene, "TYLER, THE CREATOR" is an unparalleled creator who continues to exert a powerful influence on fashion, art, and culture in general. His brand, "GOLF LE FLEUR*," as its name suggests, continues to captivate fans worldwide with playful, flower-motif designs and a unique color sense that skillfully navigates from pastels to vivid hues. His long-standing relationship with "CONVERSE" consistently provides sneakerheads with new surprises and excitement. For this collaboration, Tyler, the Creator focused on experimental running and boat shoe prototypes produced between the 1960s and 1970s, from Converse's rich archives. Although they didn't reach mass production, the unique designs and functional exploration of that era offer fresh inspiration even today.
The latest project, named the "1908 COLLECTION," is based on two models unearthed from the archive, "COACH JOGER" and "NAUT-1," and comes in a total of seven color variations.
The upper uses a canvas and suede combination to recreate the atmosphere of the time. A gum sole is used for the outsole, and an old logo is placed on the tongue, reflecting deep respect for vintage aesthetics. The color palette primarily features gentle yet distinctive shades reminiscent of spring, such as "FOREST SHADE," "QUIET TIDE," and "BISTRE." Additionally, an all-over terrier pattern model, inspired by his beloved dog "DARRYL," is also available.
