The Anonymous Club × Converse Chuck 70 collaboration re-imagines the iconic sneaker with a bold, brutalist approach. Designed by the creative collective led by Shayne Oliver, the shoe stands out with its distinctive structural aesthetic.
Inspired by technical outerwear and utility wear, this model features a rubberized canvas upper with intentionally exposed bonded seams, emphasizing the structure itself as a design element. Heat-embossed Converse and Anonymous Club logos elevate manufacturing details into subtle graphics, expressing durability in terms of both function and beauty.
Furthermore, the texture, reminiscent of duct tape and electrical tape, pays homage to the DIY spirit of 90s club culture. Velcro straps on the forefoot and ankle allow for fit adjustment and enhanced wearability over long periods.
A latex-like surface finish gives the Chuck 70 an armor-like presence. Comfort is also ensured by a layered construction that resembles one shoe placed inside another, and a supportive inner sock.
Included are two types of laces: round laces (with rubber-coated tips) and flat collaboration laces, expanding styling options. Available in a minimalist two-color palette, the shoe features a soft heather jersey lining and a co-branded sockliner on the inside.

Anonymous Club, founded by Shayne Oliver of Hood by Air, is a creative studio where fashion, music, and fine art intersect. Drawn to Converse's history as a shoe for everyone, Oliver focused on the icon's unique evolution by outsiders and reimagined it as an exclusive Chuck 70.
