"TYLER, THE CREATOR" is a lone creator who continues to have a strong influence on fashion, art, and culture as a whole, transcending the boundaries of the hip-hop scene. His brand, "GOLF LE FLEUR*", as its name suggests, continues to fascinate fans worldwide with playful designs featuring flower motifs and a unique sense of color that skillfully manipulates everything from pastels to vivid hues. His close relationship with "CONVERSE" always provides new surprises and excitement for sneakerheads. For this collaboration, Tyler, the Creator focused on experimental running shoes and boat shoe prototypes from the 1960s to 1970s, discovered in Converse's rich archives. Although they did not reach mass production, their unique designs and pursuit of functionality from that era continue to provide fresh inspiration to us today.
The latest project, named the "1908 COLLECTION," will feature seven color variations based on two models discovered in the archives: "COACH JOGER" and "NAUT-1."
The upper features a canvas and suede combination to reproduce the atmosphere of the time. The outsole uses a gum sole, and the shoe tongue features an old logo, showing deep respect for vintage. The color palette primarily includes gentle yet distinctive hues that evoke the arrival of spring, such as "FOREST SHADE," "QUIET TIDE," and "BISTRE." Additionally, an all-over terrier print model featuring his beloved dog "DARRYL" will also be available.
