Eight unique personalities are reborn with a spring color palette and all-over terrier pattern! Tyler, The Creator, an unrivaled creator, continues to exert a powerful influence on fashion, art, and culture beyond the hip-hop scene. His brand, GOLF LE FLEUR*, as its name suggests, continues to captivate fans worldwide with playful designs featuring flowers and a unique sense of color that skillfully manipulates everything from pastels to vivid hues. His close relationship with CONVERSE always provides sneakerheads with new surprises and excitement. For this collaboration, Tyler, The Creator focused on experimental running shoes and boat shoe prototypes produced between the 1960s and 1970s from Converse's rich archive. Although they never reached mass production, their unique designs and quest for functionality from that era continue to offer fresh inspiration to us today.
The latest project, named "1908 COLLECTION," features seven color variations based on two models unearthed from the archive: "COACH JOGER" and "NAUT-1."
The upper uses a combination of canvas and suede to recreate the feel of the era. A gum sole is used for the outsole, and an old logo is placed on the tongue, showing deep respect for vintage aesthetics. The color palette primarily features gentle yet distinctive spring-like shades such as "FOREST SHADE," "QUIET TIDE," and "BISTRE." Additionally, an all-over terrier pattern model, inspired by his beloved dog "DARRYL," is also available.
